James H. Madill: Project Engineer

Education: BS, Agricultural Engineering, Iowa State University; MS, Agricultural Engineering, Iowa State University

 

Project EngineerJames is a results oriented, hands-on, experienced product engineer in the agricultural machinery industry. He is experienced in the design of tractors, with over 20 years in axle and transmission design and development, with additional experience in tractor chassis and operator enclosure design.

 

 

Background

James comes to our company with over 30 years of experience as a project, test, and design engineer.

Project Engineer
   - Provided leadership and management for a team responsible for updating and      improving all the drivetrain components for row crop tractor platform.
   - Worked as the drivetrain representative for the development of the specifications for      the project.
   - Performed team member performance reviews

 

Project Engineer
   - Provided suspension and leadership for a team responsible for the current engineering      activities for products in production.
   - Successfully coordinated cost reduction work with Supply Management and      manufacturing engineering

Project Engineer
   - Provided the leadership and management for a team responsible for updating and      improving the transmissions (2 versions), MFWD axle, PTO, and rear axle for small row      crop tractor.
   - Performed team member performance reviews
   - Worked as the drivetrain representative for the development of the specifications for      the project

 

Test Engineer
   -Responsible for completing test work on agricultural trasmission, including developing      test cycles, writing test orders, and working with test technicians in setting up test      stand
 

Design Engineer
   -Responsible for the design of chassis, cab, and drivetrain components for agricultural     tractors.
